Utility Pole Inspection from March through May

To help enhance safety and reliability of its system, Azusa Light & Water (ALW) has contracted Utility Asset Management, Inc. (UAM) to conduct inspection on all its utility poles from March through May. These inspections are a critical element in ALW’s continued operations and maintenance program to ensure its system’s reliability, safety, and resiliency in delivering electricity to homes and businesses. 

Only customers with poles in their property will be affected. The UAM Team will need to gain access to the utility poles located on customer premises in order to perform a pole integrity test, which should take only 10 minutes to complete. The Team will wear high visibility vests and shirts with UAM logo and will practice COVID-19 safety protocols when knocking on doors, including keeping a safe distance from customers and wearing face coverings. Please allow them access to your yard to help us maintain the safety and reliability of the electric system.  Thank you for your cooperation!
