Mission
The Human Relations Commission of the City of Azusa is an independent, non-partisan body of appointed members, assisted by concerned citizens, with a goal of developing a comprehensive plan to create and perpetuate inclusion, diversity, and civic peace.
Overview
The Human Relations Commission serves in an advisory role to the City Council and the City Manager on the address of inter-group and inter-cultural relations, the causes and responses to hate and for the development of policies, practices and implementation of programs. (Azusa Municipal Code Chapter 2, Article V, Division 6)
