Replacing the Fuel Cost Adjustment as of July 1, 2010, the Power Cost Adjustment is a charge per kWh which is used to adjust Azusa’s electric rates for the actual cost of purchasing and generating electric power and energy to serve Azusa’s customers. The Power Cost Adjustment may be either positive or negative to reflect actual and projected changes in wholesale power-related costs.
