PUBLIC POWER WEEK 2018



Azusa Light & Water (ALW) is celebrating Public Power Week from October 7-13 along with more than 2,000 other community-owned, not-for-profit electric utilities nationwide.

Reliable, safe, affordable electricity is what public power is about, and it’s what ALW delivers year-round. Public power works because we are community-owned and governed by local decision makers who know the needs of this city, and - most importantly - because of ALW’s hardworking employees and power line workers who often work diligently in the background over the years to ensure continuous service and provide fast response when problems do arise. Keeping the lights on is a 24/7 commitment. Next time you see ALW line workers, give them a high five for a job well done!
