Scammers often pose as utility workers threatening to disconnect water and/or electric service if you don’t pay. Know that Azusa Light & Water DOES NOT contact customers asking for immediate payment.

Protect Yourself From Scammers


1. Azusa Light & Water never asks for pre-paid card to pay for delinquent accounts to avoid disconnection.
2. Customers have multiple payment options: online, by phone, ACH, mail, or in person.
3. Customers with delinquent accounts receive advance disconnection notice with regular monthly billing; not an hour before disconnection.
4. Customers who suspect or experience scam should report to Azusa Light & Water at (626) 812-5225.

Note that Azusa Light & Water will mail at least one past due notice and one disconnection notice before terminating your service. You can pay your utility bills one of the following ways:
