Parks & Recreation Commission

The Parks and Recreation Commission serves in an advisory role to the City Council and the Director of Parks and Recreation on all matters pertaining to the acquisition, improvement, maintenance and use of all public parks and parkways; formulating and conducting of all public recreational activities; the maintenance of all trees in streets and parkways; concerning relations with other governmental agencies and civic groups in the advancement of good park and recreation planning and programming; reviews the annual budget covering all park, recreation and street tree activities. (Azusa Municipal Code Chapter 50, Article II)
