Beloved former City Attorney, Richard R. Terzian, Esq. was in Azusa recently and he stopped-by City Hall to visit with City Manager, Troy Butzlaff and City Clerk, Jeffrey Lawrence Cornejo, Jr. Mr. Terzian was City of Azusa Assistant City Attorney in 1964 and in July 1968 was appointed City Attorney. He held that position until his retirement in August 1970. Mr. Terzian commented that he was wonderfully surprised by all the new development and the Gold Line in the city. He likened the opening of the 210 Freeway to the Gold Line and all the excitement it caused by cutting commute times to Los Angeles.
